MOES GOES

I have been appointed by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to serve as a volunteer in the ELCA Young Adults in Global Missions Program. I am serving in Cambodia for one year beginning in August 2015, in the new and growing Lutheran Church community in Kruos Village. 

ELCA Global Missions contributes $7,000 for each young adult's year of mission service. However, I am responsible for raising a minimum of $4,000 toward my support package which helps provide transportation costs, housing, board or food allowance, a small stipend, health insurance, orientation, and language training. 

You can support me in a number of ways, including encouragement, prayer, and financial assistance. Please consider making a contribution in support of me. 

While in Cambodia, I'm being generously supported by a large number of individuals - many of whom have opted to "sponsor a day" of my service year.

My suggested donation amount is $25 - for this amount, you can sponsor a day of my year in Cambodia - quite literally! When you make a contribution, please let me know which particular day you would like to sponsor (maybe a birthday, anniversary, or holiday - or another day that holds some significance?). On your day, I will send you a personal email about what your support has done for me on that particular day. You can even request that I do something special on your day - a particular act of service, a special prayer, etc.

Contributions to support me in my year of service can be made multiple ways:

1) Make a credit card payment on the ELCA Gift Giving website. Please choose your donation amount, and then choose my name (Jessica Moes) from the designation drop down menu. This is the fastest and easiest way to make a donation! I would appreciate it if you would email me to let me know that you've made a payment this way, and let me know which day(s) you would like to sponsor.
 
2)Write a check payable to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America at the following address:

Please write the following on the memo line of the check: "YAGM - Jessica Moes - GCS3154".

3)Make a credit card payment over the phone by calling the ELCA Gift Processing line at 1-800-638-3522. Please indicate that the gift is for Jessica Moes, and that my GCS code is GCS3154 (preferred method for credit card payment). I would appreciate it if you would email me to let me know that you've made a payment this way, and let me know which day(s) you would like to sponsor.
